Fernandinho tweets Manchester City desire

Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fernandinho has taken to Twitter today to reiterate his wish to join Manchester City this summer.

The Premier League outfit have long been linked with a move for the Brazilian, who recently expressed his desire to the media to sign on at the Etihad Stadium.

He enhanced that point during an exchange on the social networking site with a Man City supporter, who asked: "Do you want to join City? Please answer! Really hope you join."

Fernandinho replied: "Yes my friend!!!"

The 28-year-old joined Shakhtar from Atletico Paranaense in 2005.
