Borussia Dortmund offer to double Erling Braut Haaland's wages?

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly prepared to double the wages of in-demand forward Erling Braut Haaland.

With the 21-year-old continuing to enhance his reputation at the Westfalenstadion, a wide range of admirers are preparing to activate his release clause in 2022.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City are among the clubs who are likely to try to negotiate a deal with the Norway international.

However, according to Marca, Dortmund have not given up in their efforts to retain the services of the player.

The report claims that the Bundesliga outfit are willing to pay Haaland €16m (£13.6m) to remain at the club for a further 12 months.

While that would represent terms which are double what he is currently earning, Haaland still stands to receive a more lucrative deal elsewhere.
