Team News: Vincent Kompany returns for Manchester City

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has returned from injury for his side's home fixture against Sunderland this afternoon.

There is also a recall for striker Mario Balotelli, who will partner Edin Dzeko in attack.

Visiting Sunderland will begin the match with Craig Gardner at full-back, while Matt Kilgallon will fill the void at centre-back.
