Premier League champions Manchester City continued their pre-season preparations with a 3-1 win over a Malaysian select team this afternoon.

Having hit the bar earlier in the half, Argentine striker Sergio Aguero gave City the lead heading into the break when he finished off a solo run with a chipped finish from six yards out.

Further goals from Carlos Tevez and substitute Adam Johnson after the restart made sure of the outcome.

There was still time for the hosts to score a goal, although it proved to be no more than a consolation strike.
