Yaya Toure's agent: 'Manuel Pellegrini is weak'

Yaya Toure's agent Dimitri Seluk heavily criticises Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini and the hierarchy at the club.

Yaya Toure's agent Dimitri Seluk has criticised Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini for making the Ivorian a scapegoat following a poor season.

The midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from City, with Roberto Mancini's Inter Milan confirmed to be interested.

In an interview with The Mirror, Toure's Monaco-based agent Seluk also took a swipe at the City hierarchy for the money that they have misspent.

"Some people at City are trying to blame Yaya for what has happened this season," he said. "But those people aren't taking responsibility for their own mistakes.

"I am talking about executives who have bought players for a lot of money - and then put those players on the bench. I am talking about executives who spend a lot of money on Stevan Jovetic and then drop him from the Champions League squad.

"I feel sorry for Pellegrini. He is a good coach, but a weak manager."

Toure joined City from Barcelona back in 2010.
