Roma 'put off by Mancini demands'

Roma have reportedly given up on their pursuit of Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini due to contract demands.

The Italian outfit are thought to be keen on replacing interim boss Andrea Andreazzoli unless he manages to qualify for the Champions League by the end of the season.

It is thought that Mancini was on the Serie A side's list, but demands of a salary worth £4.3m a year is too much of an ask for the club, according to Goal.com.

AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri is now thought to be Roma's main target.
