Sergio Aguero denies Che Guevara comments

Sergio Aguero has denied reports that he compared himself to Argentine Marxist Che Guevara in a recent interview.

The 23-year-old recently announced that he is officially a Manchester City player on Twitter, but has taken to the social networking site since then to deny the controversial quotes, which were published in The Sun.

"Since I came to England I have not given any interviews to the media," the forward wrote on his official Twitter page. "The statements that have been published are not my words.

"Therefore, I deny making statements comparing myself to Che Guevara."
