Man City injury, suspension list vs. West Ham

Manchester City will be aiming to progress to the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup when they make the trip to the London Stadium to face West Ham United on Wednesday night.

The Citizens will enter the contest off the back of a 4-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League, which moved them into second position in the table behind Chelsea.

Pep Guardiola's side recorded a 6-1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers in the previous round of the competition to advance to the round of 16.

Ferran Torres

Ferran Torres sustained a foot fracture while representing Spain over the international break, and the attacker is not expected to be back in action until the start of 2022.


Raheem Sterling

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Back Possible return date: October 27 (vs. West Ham)

Man City were without the services of Raheem Sterling against Brighton due to a lower back problem, and the attacker remains a doubt for the clash with the Hammers.

Subject to a police charge, Benjamin Mendy has been suspended by the club pending an investigation, so he will be unavailable for selection for the foreseeable future.
