Former Crystal Palace winger Jimmy Kebe handed Mallorca trial

Former Crystal Palace and Reading winger Jimmy Kebe has been handed a trial by Mallorca.

The Mali international has passed a medical with the Spanish club, but they are unwilling to offer him a contract until he has proven his fitness.

"Kebe has already passed his medical examinations but as he has not played in the last six months, the club wants to be sure of his physical condition before extending a contract offer," said Mallorca in a statement.

Kebe joined Palace from Reading in 2013 but was dropped by the club following a loan spell with Leeds United.
