Sports Mole previews this weekend's La Liga encounter between Mallorca and Athletic Bilbao

Mallorca take on Athletic Bilbao this weekend as they attempt to edge away from the relegation zone in La Liga.

The home side can move up towards 15th place and could secure a four-point safety gap from the bottom three but they head into the clash on the back of a heavy 4-0 defeat to Levante in the league.

Meanwhile, Bilbao could move into the top half of the table if they manage to snatch all three points on away turf as they try to claim back-to-back league wins following their slender 1-0 win over Celta Vigo.

A forward two of Tomer Hemed and Victor could line up for the hosts this weekend, while Bilbao will be hoping that Aritz Aduriz can find the net following his goal against Celta Vigo.
