Manuel Luis Pellegrini: Premier League clubs chasing Salomon Rondon

Malaga coach Manuel Luis Pellegrini reveals that the club have received offers from England and Germany for striker Salomon Rondon.

Malaga coach Manuel Luis Pellegrini has revealed that the club have received offers from England and Germany for striker Salomon Rondon.

The Venezuelan international scored 11 goals last season as the Spaniards secured a spot in the Europa League.

Despite the interest from abroad, Pellegrini hopes that the 22-year-old can be persuaded to stay at La Rosaleda.

"Rondon has had substantial offers from both Germany and England," he told AS Sport.

"To stay here, to have time to demonstrate his worth, it has been important to Malaga and hopefully we can have him for longer. It is difficult to know what will happen."

Rondon joined Malaga from Las Palmas in summer 2010.
