Malaga sign Pablo Perez

Spanish outfit Malaga agree to sign Newell's Old Boys midfielder Pablo Perez.

Spanish outfit Malaga have reached an agreement with Newell's Old Boys for the signing of talented midfielder Pablo Perez.

The 28-year-old has not officially signed a contract with the La Liga side, but will put pen to paper on Tuesday should he pass a medical.

Malaga have already filled their quota of foreign players for this season, but it is believed that the paperwork for Perez to become a European citizen is close to being completed.

Perez, who will sign a three-year contract at Malaga and cost in the region of £750,000, has been with Newell's since 2006.
