Joaquin finalises Fiorentina move

Spanish winger Joaquin will complete his move to Serie A side Fiorentina after undergoing a medical.

The 31-year-old flew to Florence today to put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the Viola. The fee is reported to be in the region of £2m.

"ACF Fiorentina and Malaga CF announce they have reached an agreement for the permanent transfer of Joaquin Sanchez Rodriguez," said a statement on the official website of Fiorentina.

The former Real Betis and Valencia winger made 54 appearances in two years with Malaga and scored six goals.
