Mario Husillos: 'Isco talks ongoing'

Malaga sporting director Mario Husillos has revealed that contract talks with Spanish midfielder Isco are ongoing.

The 20-year-old's performances this season have reportedly attracted the interest of a host of Premier League clubs, but Husillos has quelled talk of a move.

"Talks for renewal are still on track. The boy wants to stay at the club because it is clear that growth and performance have to be here. Isco is intelligent and is still young. He will soon be in the national team," he told Malaga Hoy.

Isco has scored four goals in 16 matches for Malaga this season.
