Javier Saviola delighted with debut

Malaga striker Javier Saviola has vowed to continue improving after scoring on his debut for the club on Saturday.

The 30-year-old, who scored one and made another as Malaga recorded a 3-1 win over Levante, has also insisted that the best is yet to come.

"I hope to continue giving glorious afternoons [to the fans]. The standing ovation reminded of me of River Plate. My celebration was for all of the people who have supported me," he told Marca.

Malaga currently sit second in La Liga.
