Lyon have confirmed that they will face New York Red Bulls in a pre-season friendly at the Red Bull Arena.
The seven-time Ligue 1 champions will take on their MLS opponents on July 16.
Former Lyon favourites Juninho and Peguy Luyindula currently play for the Red Bulls.
Meanwhile, former manager Gerard Houllier acts as global sporting director of Red Bull Soccer.
