Maxime Gonalons challenges Lyon teammate Alexandre Lacazette

Captain Maxime Gonalons has challenged Lyon teammate Alexandre Lacazette to replicate his current form on a regular basis.

The 22-year-old was one of the brightest sparks for Les Gones against Toulouse on Thursday night, and netted the opening goal during the 1-1 draw at the Stade de Gerland.

"He was the number one weapon of our team tonight," Gonalons told reporters.

"He was rewarded with a goal, unfortunately it does not allow us to win.

"This is Alexandre Lacazette how you want to see him all the time."

Lyon are currently 15 points behind third-placed AS Monaco in the Champions League places in 12th.
