Lugo edge past Barcelona B

Lugo have enhanced their chances of gaining promotion to La Liga with a narrow 1-0 victory over Barcelona B at home.

Vincenzo Rennella scored the only goal of the Spanish Segunda Division game at the Estadio Anxo Carro in the 61st minute.

Quique Setien's side are now up to sixth in the league table with 33 points from 23 matches, just three points behind second-placed Real Zaragoza.

Meanwhile, Barca B are 16th in the standings with 28 points.
