Bayern Munich have reportedly launched a fresh bid to sign Liverpool winger Luis Diaz.
The Colombian winger has a contract at Anfield until 2027, but he has reportedly informed the club of his desire to play for Bayern.
The Reds have rejected two bids from the German champions already as they insist that the player will not be sold.
However, Liverpool could still be willing to do business should they receive a handsome transfer fee, as they could utilise the money to fund moves for other targets, such as Alexander Isak.
According to Florian Plettenberg, Bayern have submitted a fresh offer for Diaz, and talks are ongoing between the two clubs.
Diaz could be set for Liverpool exit
Transfer expert Ben Jacobs claimed on X that Bayern are expected to submit their next bid “imminently” for Diaz, which is thought to be in the region of €75m (£65m).
While the Bundesliga champions admire the Liverpool winger, they will not pay more than €80m (£69.2m).
Plettenberg claims that Bayern have submitted an improved offer worth more than €67.5m (£58.6m) for Diaz, but the deal could still fall through.

Liverpool have spent over £300m on seven signings this summer, and they are not done yet. The Reds are still looking to add a new defender, while they could break the British transfer record to sign Isak if he is available.
The Premier League champions are not forcing Diaz out of the club, but they would probably allow him to move on, along with Federico Chiesa and Darwin Nunez, should they receive a very good offer.
Bayern Munich badly need to sign a new winger
The summer transfer window is proving to be a disaster for Bayern, as they have failed to land some of their top targets.
The Bavarian club need to bolster the wing areas following the departure of Leroy Sane, and Diaz, who scored 17 goals in all competitions under Arne Slot last season, looks a perfect fit.
In case Bayern fail to sign Diaz, they could move for other targets, such as Xavi Simons, who is also reportedly on Chelsea's radar.
