Brendan Rodgers: 'Pepe Reina not for sale'

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that goalkeeper Pepe Reina will not be leaving the club this summer.

The 30-year-old Spanish shotstopper has recently been linked with a £10m move to Barcelona.

"It's that silly season now that starts up all the rumours and whatnot but Pepe's not for sale," Rogders is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"He's got three years left on his contract here, he's happy and obviously there's speculation but it's not worth commenting on."

Real Madrid are also understood to be interested in a move for Reina at the end of the season.
