Report: Liverpool to bid £10m for Schalke 04 youngster Leroy Sane

Liverpool have reportedly approached Schalke 04 regarding a £10m bid for teenager Leroy Sane.

The 19-year-old, whose impressive performances have earned him a call-up to the German national side, has also been linked with Liverpool's arch rivals Manchester United.

According to Bild, the Merseyside outfit have already made their interest known with a bid ahead of the January window, but it is believed that the club's has previous advances for the midfielder rejected in the summer.

Sane has netted five goals for Schalke so far this season.
