Liverpool youngster Curtis Jones being targeted by Blackburn Rovers?

Blackburn Rovers have reportedly targeted a summer loan move for teenage Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones.

The 19-year-old has impressed during his brief appearances for the Reds this term by scoring in both rounds of the FA Cup, including a stunning long-range winner against Everton.

Jones has been restricted to just two cameo appearances in the Premier League, but Jurgen Klopp is said to have blocked a loan exit in the January window.

According to The Sun, however, Blackburn are hoping to tempt Liverpool to temporarily offload the youngster ahead of the 2020-21 season in order to gain first-team experience.

England Under-19s international Jones has made a total of six appearances for Liverpool in all competitions.
