Liverpool, Tottenham in hot pursuit of Internacional's Leandro Damiao

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly both hot on the heels of Brazil and Internacional striker Leandro Damiao.

The 22-year-old was targeted by Spurs in the summer, when the club reportedly had a £15m bid turned down by the Brazilian outfit.

It is believed that Liverpool have entered the race for the frontman, who has been valued at £22m, according to the Daily Mail.

Damiao is currently out of contention with a hamstring injury.
