Liverpool target Adriano?

Liverpool are considering making a move for Barcelona left-back Adriano in the summer, according to a report.

Liverpool have reportedly identified Adriano as a top transfer target ahead of this summer's window.

The Barcelona defender has fallen out of favour this season due to the form of fellow left-back Jordi Alba, and Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is believed to be an admirer of the Brazilian.

Jose Enrique, who has been a regular at left-back since moving to Liverpool from Newcastle United in 2011, has struggled with injuries this campaign.

Aly Cissokho was brought in on loan as cover but reports in Spain have suggested that Rodgers would prefer to make a permanent move for Adriano at the end of the season, according to The Metro.

Adriano, who was signed from Sevilla in 2010, could be sold for a fee close to £6m.
