Liverpool are reportedly contemplating whether to sign Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic on a free transfer next summer.

Liverpool have reportedly identified Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic as a transfer target for 2022.

Despite losing Georginio Wijnaldum on a free transfer earlier this summer, Liverpool are yet to sign a direct replacement for the Netherlands international.

As it stands, it appears that Jurgen Klopp will place faith in youngster Harvey Elliott for the current campaign, already starting the 18-year-old in two of Liverpool's opening three Premier League fixtures.

However, Inter Live says that Liverpool will look to add more experience to their ranks next summer with the addition of Brozovic.

The 28-year-old, who has spent the last six seasons at San Siro, is currently due to be out of contract at the end of the season.

Inter will almost certainly look to agree fresh terms with the Croatia international over the coming months.
