Liverpool are reportedly considering a move for Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge.
The 22-year-old is thought to be unhappy with a lack of first-team opportunities at Stamford Bridge.
New Reds boss Brendan Rodgers could soon test Chelsea's resolve with a bid for the England international, according to the Daily Star.
Sturridge, who joined the Blues from Manchester City in 2009, scored 13 goals in all competitions last season.
