Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik has welcomed the potential signing of Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel.
Speculation continues to suggest that coach Rafael Benitez is looking to secure a deal for the Slovakian international, as he hopes to strengthen his defence ahead of the new season.
"Skrtel to Napoli? I don't know, the market is not up to me. Sure, he is a great player and he would be good for Napoli," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying.
The 26-year-old signed a new deal with the Serie A giants on Friday that will extend his stay in Naples until 2018.
