Ryad Boudebouz claims Liverpool interest

Sochaux midfielder Ryad Boudebouz has insisted that Liverpool are trying to sign him.

The highly-rated Algerian international already has a number of Ligue 1 clubs chasing him, including Lyon, Lille and Marseille.

"Certainly, my agent is in talks with some clubs, particularly in France, but there is still nothing concrete," said Boudebouz.

"There is also Liverpool, who have initiated discussions with my agent, but at the risk of repeating myself, everything is in the discussion stage, no more."

Boudebouz has made 130 Ligue 1 appearances for the club.
