Anderlecht winger Frank Acheampong 'on Liverpool radar'

Liverpool are reportedly considering a January move for Anderlecht winger Frank Acheampong.

The 23-year-old, who is expected to represent Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations next month, joined Anderlecht from Thai club Buriram United in the summer of 2013.

Sunderland and Newcastle United have previously been linked with the £6m-rated midfielder, but according to The Sun, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is eyeing a move for the Ghana international at the start of next month.

Acheampong has already made 26 appearances for Anderlecht in all competitions this season - two of which came in the Champions League.
