AC Milan are reportedly preparing a surprise January move for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.
The 27-year-old has an uncertain future at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp, having started just four times in the league this season, with Roberto Firmino instead preferred up front and Divock Origi also providing competition.
According to Italian outfit CalcioMercatoWeb, Milan have been following Sturridge's situation closely and are prepared to offer €30m (£25.5m) in January as they look to replace out-of-form striker Carlos Bacca.
Reports in the last week have claimed that Sturridge has been pondering his Liverpool future of late, with potential offers from Premier League sides West Ham United and Stoke City thought to be on the table.
Sturridge joined Liverpool from Chelsea in January 2013 and has notched up 43 goals in 77 top-flight appearances for the Reds.body check tags ::
