Stoke target Sotirios Kyrgiakos

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis is reportedly interested in former Liverpool centre-back Sotirios Kyrgiakos.

The former Greece international, who signed for Wolfsburg in the summer, is understood to be open to a move back to the Premier League after finding first team opportunities limited under Felix Magath, according to The People.

Kyrgiakos, signed by former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitiez, scored three goals in 30 league appearances for Liverpool during his two seasons at the club.

The Potters are expected to face competition around the Premier League for the 32-year-old's signature.
