Brendan Rodgers unfazed by rumours linking Jurgen Klopp to Liverpool

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers insists that he is not worried by rumours linking Jurgen Klopp to his job.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted that he expects other coaches to be linked to his job following reports claiming that Jurgen Klopp could replace him.

The German will be available in the summer after he asked to be released from his contract at Borussia Dortmund when the Bundesliga season comes to an end.

After Liverpool were knocked out by Aston Villa in the FA Cup semi-finals last weekend, Klopp has swiftly been linked to the Anfield hotseat.

When asked about the speculation, Rodgers told reporters: "At a club like Liverpool, there'll be many names mentioned - that's the marker of being at such a huge and respected club. There's absolutely no problem if that happens. If you lose a couple of games, there'll always be people linked to the club."

This will be Rodgers's third trophiless season at Liverpool.
