Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers: 'Chelsea's success doesn't puzzle me'

Rodgers 'not surprised' by Chelsea success

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes that Chelsea's Premier League title success this season is no surprise.

The West London outfit wrapped up league glory last Sunday with three games to spare when they sealed a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have been labelled 'boring' due to their ability to grind out results, but Rodgers believes that the club are worthy of their success.

"It doesn't puzzle me - you only need to look at Chelsea in the last 10 years, they've been the most successful club in the country," Rodgers said in this afternoon's press conference. "We're at a totally different stage and they've had something in place for the last 10 years."

Liverpool, who are four points adrift of a Champions League spot, will take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
