Brazil international Lucas Leiva believes that there are many positives to take from Liverpool's start to the season despite dropping points against the likes of Norwich City and Stoke City.
The Merseyside club currently sit sixth in the Premier League table with one point separating them from a Champions League spot.
"The results may not have been the best just yet but there are a lot of new players that came in and it always takes time to settle and build an understanding," the Liverpool Daily Post quotes Lucas as saying.
"The points that we have dropped, especially in the home games, could be crucial in the end but I am still really confident that we will have a good season.
"We have to make sure we get the points we need, especially at home, because that will be very important for us."
