Kenny Dalglish hits back at Luis Suarez exit rumours

Dalglish hits back at Suarez rumours

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has dismissed speculation suggesting that striker Luis Suarez is interested in leaving Merseyside for Paris Saint-Germain.

The 25-year-old claimed during an interview on French television station Canal+ that he would "love" to play alongside Uruguayan teammate and PSG centre-back Diego Lugano at club level.

The quotes prompted speculation that the former Ajax frontman would be open to a switch to the Ligue 1 side. "What quotes?" Dalglish asked a Sky Sports News reporter. "I think you'll find [Edinson] Cavani was also mentioned and I think you'll find it was a television programme about Lugano. Anything you tell me I'm dismissing."

Meanwhile, Liverpool go head to head with Everton in the Merseyside derby tomorrow following a poor stint in the club's Premier League season.
