Liverpool win UEFA Cup 24 years ago today: Can you name their squad from the final?

Can you name every member of Liverpool's squad for the 2001 UEFA Cup final?

Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund were intertwined long before Jurgen Klopp took the reins at Anfield, as the Reds rocked up to BVB's iconic Signal Iduna Park for the final of the 2000-01 UEFA Cup against Deportivo Alaves.

Gerard Houllier's men had taken down a host of European behemoths en route to the showpiece event, conquering all of Roma, Porto and Barcelona in the earlier rounds, while Alaves claimed a memorable scalp over Inter Milan en route to Dortmund.

What followed was one of the most spectacular nights in UEFA Cup folklore, as an extraordinary eight goals were shared across both sides in the opening 90 minutes, the last of which came from the head of Jordi Cruyff to force extra time.

Back then, the golden goal rule was in operation during the UEFA Cup final, and Liverpool ensured that they would be travelling home with the gold medal in the 116th minute, when Alaves' Delfi Geli fatally turned the ball past his own goalkeeper.

To mark the 24th anniversary of Liverpool's victory, Sports Mole challenges you to name the Reds' squad from that famous night in Germany.
