Luis Suarez: 'Liverpool are good enough for Champions League'

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez says that the team are currently playing at a level that can see them qualify for the Champions League next season.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez believes that the team are currently playing at the level required to secure Champions League football next season.

The Reds are fourth in the Premier League, and the Uruguayan forward, who has plundered 22 goals this term, reckons that the team are good enough to qualify for Europe's premier competition.

He told the club's official website: "We know that in the last two years we haven't demonstrated that Liverpool can play in the Champions League,' he told the club's official website.

"Now we are playing very well and we have the level to play in the Champions League. We have really good players and if we continue at this level, we can do it.

"When you are a child, you imagine a lot. Now many people or players speak about that and it's unbelievable for me. [It is] also for Liverpool, because in the last two or three years we have not played very well and not demonstrated our level. Now we are back to that."

A recent report claimed that Paris Saint-Germain were lining up a cash-plus-player offer for the former Ajax hitman.
