Arouna Kone has joined Wigan Athletic from Levante on a three-year deal after passing a medical.
The 28-year-old travelled to England on Tuesday, and the club have confirmed that the medical has been successful.
Kone scored 18 goals for the Spanish club last season, while he has scored nine goals in 35 games for the Ivory Coast.
Wigan host Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.
