Leicester City have moved into ninth place in the Championship table with a 2-0 win at home to Watford.

David Nugent got the Foxes off the mark on 19 minutes when he fired in a low shot from inside the area.

The home side doubled their advantage on 36 minutes when summer signing Jermaine Beckford headed in from close range to net his first goal for the club.

Sven-Goran Eriksson's side entertain Millwall in the Championship on Saturday, while Watford travel to Hull.
