Leeds 'weighing up £18m move for Ligue 1 attacker'

Leeds United are reportedly considering a summer move for Metz striker Habib Diallo.

The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for his French club during the 2019-20 campaign, finding the back of the net on 12 occasions in 26 Ligue 1 appearances.

Chelsea are thought to have submitted a £17m offer for the attacker during the January transfer window but were unable to get a deal over the line.

According to Le Foot, Leeds are now weighing up a bid for the Senegal international, although Metz will allegedly refuse to sell unless they receive an offer in the region of €20m (£18m).

Leicester City and Crystal Palace have also been credited with an interest in his services.

Leeds - currently top of the Championship - are likely to have to secure a Premier League spot for next season in order to sign Diallo, but there is currently no guarantee that the 2019-20 campaign will resume.
