Leeds interested in Man City's Wright?

Championship side Leeds United are weighing up a move for Manchester City's veteran goalkeeper Richard Wright, according to reports.

The 38-year-old joined the Citizens in 2012, but is yet to make an appearance for Manuel Pellegrini's side.

The Elland Road club are in the hunt for a new reserve goalkeeper after current option Ross Turnbull broke his ankle earlier this month, and Wright is being considered by new Leeds boss Steve Evans, reports the Daily Star.

Wright's former clubs include Preston North End, Ipswich Town, Arsenal, Everton, West Ham United, Southampton and Sheffield United.

He also made two senior appearances for England, but has not been called up to the national side since 2003.
