Red Bull 'in Leeds United buy-out talks'

Soft drinks company Red Bull are in talks with Massimo Cellino regarding the potential sale of Leeds United, according to reports.

Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino is reportedly in talks regarding the possible sale of the club to soft drinks company Red Bull.

According to the Daily Mail, the brand behind the successful Formula 1 team had been interested in taking control of the Yorkshire club 18 months ago, but were unable to reach a deal.

However, Red Bull are understood to have re-entered negotiations with Cellino and are believed to have been in Leeds since Wednesday, trying to thrash out a deal for the Championship outfit.

The Austrian company already owns MLS side New York Red Bulls as well as Red Bull Salzburg.
