Los Angeles Galaxy score late to see off Seattle Sounders

A late strike from Mike Magee gave Los Angeles Galaxy a deserved victory over Seattle Sounders at the Home Depot Center tonight.

The 28-year-old forward scored the game's only goal when he found the bottom-left corner with a precise 25-yard drive seven minutes from time.

Robbie Keane had earlier gone closest to breaking the deadlock.

The Republic of Ireland captain narrowly failed to hit the target from inside the 18-yard box on four occasions and also struck the crossbar with a fierce effort from long range.
