South Korea and Switzerland fail to carve out many goalscoring opportunities during the opening 45 minutes at the Ricoh Arena.

Neither South Korea nor Switzerland were able to break the deadlock during their Olympic encounter at Coventry City's Ricoh Arena this evening.

The Koreans dominated for large parts of the half, but they found creating clear goalscoring chances difficult.

Their best chance fell to the feet of Arsenal striker Park Chu-Young with seven minutes of the half remaining. However, the 27-year-old failed to make a clean connection and the danger was cleared by Switzerland goalkeeper Diego Benaglio.

Switzerland only managed to have one shot at goal throughout the half, which defender Timm Klose sent wide from inside the penalty area.
