Wednesday's Bundesliga predictions including RB Leipzig vs. Freiburg

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Bundesliga fixtures, including RB Leipzig vs. Freiburg.

FC Koln vs. B. Leverkusen (Wednesday, 5.30pm)

FC Koln will be aiming to return to winning ways when they take on Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on Wednesday.

The visitors, meanwhile, moved outside of the relegation places after stunning Union Berlin at the weekend.

We say: FC Koln 1-2 Bayer Leverkusen

We can envisage Leverkusen building on their huge win against Union Berlin at the weekend with another victory.

Koln look a little out of sorts at present having had their amount of matches compiled by numerous injuries, with the visitors undoubtedly possessing the attacking ability to punish them.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

RB Leipzig vs. Freiburg (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

In a repeat of last season's DFB-Pokal final, RB Leipzig host Freiburg in the Bundesliga on Wednesday.

The visitors moved second in the table after beating FC Koln at the weekend, and they head into the encounter five points clear of their forthcoming opponents.

We say: RB Leipzig 2-1 Freiburg

This should be a highly entertaining encounter between two in-form teams, but Leipzig appear to be a class above the majority of teams in the division at present and should be able to claim a huge win.

Nkunku continues to be one of the Bundesliga's most impressive players and he will be keen to remain at the top of the Bundesliga goalscoring charts, although Gregoritsch will fancy his chances of bagging once again, too.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Union Berlin vs. Augsburg (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Union Berlin will be looking to retain their lofty top-four ambitions as they host a struggling FC Augsburg side at the Stadion An der Alten Forsterei on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Enrico Maassen's Augsburg are scavenging to stave off a relegation fight as they look for their first win in seven games.

We say: Union Berlin 2-2 Augsburg

Though there is a large divide between these two teams in terms of results this year, the potential for a goal-fest is very high between Union and Augsburg.

The fluid counter-attacking of Augsburg's formation, including an in-form Mergim Berisha, the rapidity of Jensen on the wings, and the intelligence of Demirovic and Niederlechner, could all help to exploit Union's aggression.

Such a result for Augsburg is contingent on Union's players showing the same lethargy they did at the weekend. The fixture list has been much kinder on Augsburg, and they may prove a tough opponent for Fischer's Union.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Frankfurt vs. Hoffenheim (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Eintracht Frankfurt could move into the top four by beating Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga on Wednesday.

The visitors, meanwhile, are in danger of falling into the bottom half of the table having failed to win their last three matches.

We say: Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 Hoffenheim

We expect to see a fairly open encounter between two sides who enjoy attacking, but Frankfurt are undoubtedly in better form right now and should be able to claim another victory.

Hoffenheim have clearly dipped in standards since returning from September's international break, and the forthcoming World Cup may be coming at a good time for Breitenreiter's side.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Schalke vs. Mainz (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Schalke 04 will be aiming to move off the foot of the table when they host Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga on Wednesday.

The visitors, meanwhile, have lost two successive league games and they will hope that run comes to an end in Gelsenkirchen.

We say: Schalke 04 1-1 Mainz 05

With Schalke facing Bayern in their final match prior to the World Cup, their losing streak needs to come to an end on Wednesday if they are to avoid being even further stranded in the automatic relegation places.

Mainz have looked a little out of sorts in recent matches and we can see them having to settle for a share of the spoils against their struggling opponents.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
