Borja Perez departs Kilmarnock

A statement from Kilmarnock has confirmed that Borja Perez has left the Scottish outfit by mutual consent.

The 31-year-old, who joined the club from Alcorcon last summer, is believed to be close to agreeing terms with Tenerife.

The statement read: "We can confirm that Spanish midfielder Borja Perez has left the club by mutual consent.

"We would like to thank Borja for his efforts during his time at Kilmarnock Football Club and wish him all the best for the rest of his career."

Perez started his youth career at Real Madrid.
