Dale Carrick joins Kilmarnock

Former Hearts centre-forward Dale Carrick signs a three-year contract with Kilmarnock.

Kilmarnock have completed the signing of Dale Carrick.

The 21-year-old striker had only been available since yesterday following his release from Hearts by mutual consent.

"Dale just wants to play football and to get more game time. He's at an age where he wants to play every week and we can't guarantee that," Hearts manager Robbie Neilson told the club's official website upon Carrick's departure.

Carrick, who scored eight goals in 53 outings for Hearts, has agreed a three-year contract at Rugby Park.
