Kettering Town attract lowest ever crowd

Southern League Premier Division outfit Kettering Town attracted the lowest crowd in their history against Peterborough Northern Star on Tuesday.

Just 34 people attended their 2-0 win in the Northants Hillier Senior Cup as the Poppies advanced to the next round.

Kettering were relegated two divisions from the Blue Square Bet Premier in the summer following a host of financial problems.

They usually attract crowds of 400 supporters for league matches.
