Juve 'don't need to sell Pogba'

Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta has insisted that the Italian champions are not under any pressure to sell star midfielder Paul Pogba.

The French international has been linked with an array of European clubs, including former side Manchester United.

However, speaking after the Bianconeri's 1-0 victory over Genoa on Sunday, Marotta has suggested that Pogba could stay in Turin beyond the end of the season.

Marotta told reporters: "Pogba is a young player with lots of promise but he is realising his potential.

"We want to win and we don't necessarily have to sell our best players.

"It is clear that players of this quality attract interest from other clubs but we don't seek buyers and there has been no contact."

Juve are currently 14 points clear at the top of Serie A.
