Japan's Shinji Kagawa eager to attack Mexico

Kagawa eager to attack Mexico

Shinji Kagawa has insisted that Japan will be going out to beat Mexico when the two sides meet in the Confederations Cup on Saturday night.

Despite neither side having any chance of qualifying for the next round of the tournament in Brazil, the Manchester United playmaker is eager to see his country end their campaign on a winning note.

"We can't move on to the next round but we still want to play with feeling," Kagawa is quoted as saying by Goal.com.

"If we can score three or four goals, we have to take those chances. I want to challenge Mexico on the attack."

Kagawa has won 45 caps for Japan since making his senior debut in 2008.
